(lyrics and translation under the break)
Anyway, then Hannah sent me a big collection of her Michael/Barbara photographs. Later, I thought it would be nice to make a Michael/Barbara MV just using their off-scene photos, with "In the Rain" song. It took me a while to finally make this MV, partly because I'm now using a Mac, and Mac's iMovie is a hassle with the subtitles (amazingly; for I thought iMovie will be superior compared to Windows Live Movie Maker!). But finally I made it.
Included in the photos are some photos I found on the web, and also sent by Cynthia. Translation by myself, with some revisions from Sandy Lan Le and Hong Meen Chee. AI included a beautiful painting of a couple in the rain by Leslie Allen.
I hope you enjoy the MV. As I said earlier, Barbara wasn't a singer, but the fact that this is the only song we have featuring her and Michael together makes this MV very special to me. Plus, Michael's singing voice is enjoyable. Even now, he still has a good singing voice! (click this one to hear him singing with Felix Wong).
Well, MB apparently also sang during one of the Chor Lau Heung (or the Foundation?) tour in costume, so if anyone can send me the recording of that show, I'll be more than happy to make another post about it!

Through many springs and winters

女:在雨中,我送過你
男:在夜裡,我吻過你

男:在春天,我擁有你
女:在冬季,我離開你
男:有相见, 也有费力

只有默默的承受這一切 承受數不近的春來冬去

I love MB so much that Babs singing gives me a happy cringe hahahaha. Great MV Icha. I dont think Ive ever seen ( or heard ) any MB vid that used a song MB actually sang. This is one of a kind to me! It so lovely. Thank you. I do love it very much.
LOL!!! Hannah, "happy cringe" is definitely the most suitable term for this one! LOL! Yeah, I've declared upfront that this MV is not mainly about the beautiful voices, but rather about them singing together...
LOL!!! Happy cringe indeed!
Ah...thank you so much for all these sources..Icha
You are superb! How can they not fall in love with each other? In Korea there were two famous couples of actors and actresses who were always playing lovers in numerous dramas, one in 70s one in 80s like Michael and Barbara. Both couples married. Bondage and affection has to form unless you are unfeeling robots..
I can see how Barbara is so soft minded and fragile and needs much love. Michael is so naturally tender in every touch and his demenor so gentle and loving. There is no way Barbara did not fall for him and Michel saw that she needed him and his comforting and consolation.
I am almost positive they loved each other. I am no fool it is so obvious if you know human psychology. The proverb says that there are three things you can never hide, it is cough, poverty, and love between a man and a woman.
