I told
Hannah a while ago that I was listening to a compilation of 1980 Jianghu/Gongwu
Original Soundtracks from iTunes. Hannah asked me for the list, but I haven’t
got around to it until now.
Hope you
find it useful. I'm sure Spotify etc can also provide you with this list. Let me know what else to add, I’m most interested in the TVB
1980s songs. I’ll also update this list as I find ‘new’ songs to add (I want to add the Foundation songs etc). The detailed songs (with Chinese characters to copy-paste) are after the break. All songs are in Cantonese.

Update 12 April 2017
Some readers have asked me a more detailed method to obtain those songs from either iTunes or Spotify. While I haven't been able to work on the Spotify bit, I tried just now with iTunes, and the following method works.
You just need to copy and paste the Chinese characters of the song title to iTunes library, and then it will come up with some selections. For instance, I used Song #1 (Chor Lau Heung 1984 opening theme) and copy-paste the characters 笑踏河山 to Apple Music search bar, and I got the screen shot below.
All the best. Will try working on the Spotify when I have some free time...

Thank you! Growing up, I watched HK series in Vietnamese dubbed, idk why it's so difficult to come across now days. But I remember the 80's had the best themesongs!!!! I'm glad some of them are spotify, the sucky part is that most of the songs are in chinese characters and I can't read them.
If you're on spotify, can you email me your username? I'd love to follow your playlist.
Aloha,
Kimberly
Hi Kim,
I'm on Spotify but I don't put these songs in my Spotify, mostly because it's somehow easier to find it in iTunes than Spotify. When I do put them on Spotify, I'll let you know. Drop me your email at southernriver74 at gmail dot com so I can inform you about it.
